Purpose of Data Processing
The temporary storage of your IP address by the system is necessary to enable the delivery of the requested data to your electronic device. For this purpose, your IP address must be stored for the duration of the session.
The storage of other data in log files is done to ensure the functionality of the website. Additionally, these data are used to optimize the content of my website, to help prevent disruptions and abuse of my systems, to ensure the permanent functionality and security of my website and my information technology systems, and to provide law enforcement authorities with the necessary information for prosecution in the event of a cyber attack.
These purposes also represent my legitimate interest in data processing pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
Duration of Storage
Data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer necessary for the purpose of its collection. In the case of data collected for the provision of the website, this occurs when the respective session is ended.
In the case of data stored in log files, this occurs after a maximum of seven days, unless a longer storage period is necessary to comply with contractual or legal obligations. Data required for further storage for evidentiary purposes will be exempt from deletion until the final resolution of the respective incident.
Furthermore, storage for statistical purposes or for the optimization of my website and offered content is possible. In this case, your IP address will be deleted or anonymized, so that allocation to the accessing client is no longer possible.
Objection and Removal Options
The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files are mandatory for the operation of the website. Therefore, there is no option for objection on your part.
